CC-138 Twin Otter #13805

The CC-138 is the RCAF variant of the legendary DHC-6 Twin Otter. Her unmatched performance, reliability, ruggedness and versatility make the Twin Otter the only aircraft on the market which is suitable to support RCAF operations in Canada’s remote Arctic. Introduced in 1971, the CC-138 has filled a great number of roles, and to this day continues to defy all odds.

CC-138 #13805 was one of eight aircraft delivered to the RCAF back in 1971. To this day she supports RCAF operations in the remote arctic, as well as Search and Rescue roles. Several years ago, her wings and other structural componenets were replaced as part of a fleet wide life extension program. Even more than 50 years after introduction, there is no aircraft on the market capable enough to fill the shoes of the legendary Twin Otter.
