Joining Conair Aviation, C-FKFL was converted into an aerial firefighter, where she would spend the remainder of her career protecting forests and communities from some of North America's most destructive wildfires. Operating at extremely low altitudes through smoke, turbulence, mountainous terrain, and intense summer heat, she delivered thousands of gallons of fire retardant with precision in some of aviation's most demanding conditions.
